You shoulda had her fast-tracked, Saz!Woman in a Windowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14747858840088922077noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6823681431938282960.post-47185601322596179752009-07-06T20:31:33.265+01:002009-07-06T20:31:33.265+01:00The funny thing is that my sister's complainin...The funny thing is that my sister's complaining that all her teenage daughter does (almost 15) is put on loads of make-up and head to the shops with her friends. That's exactly what we used to do. If she stayed in her bedroom on her computer, like my nephew, there'd still be something to complain about!Expat mumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17798190669591053390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6823681431938282960.post-31519720159949678652009-07-05T21:14:28.010+01:002009-07-05T21:14:28.010+01:00I have jusr read the entire blog and think it is f...I have jusr read the entire blog and think it is fantastic...what a great job you mums are doing ANd doing it with humour and sanity almost intact.

I do think hat if said teens could be persuaded to read it they would maybe see another side of the war.

Keep up the good work.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6823681431938282960.post-54188441378934993352009-07-05T17:32:53.182+01:002009-07-05T17:32:53.182+01:00PS - Hope she made it home safely.

(I just typed a whole bunch of detail and then thought 'what if mom heads over here and reads the comment?' Good girl me doesn't want to 'get in trouble'.DELETE) Anyway, suffice it to say that generations in this family are becoming better behaved, I think. Mr grandfather was sent away to catholic seminary as an incorrigle 12 year old. And my daughters frown at me if I have a glass of wine...
it's the same from generation to generation - just different things to cause conflict. And the conflict has to come - otherwise they'll never leave. Since the time of Socrates (I think it was) folk have complained about the way their youngsters behave. It's all part of growing up - oops, I mean, all part of being a parent.
P.S. never had a training bra but I loved Swizzlers!Scriptor Senexhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17795521284516432520noreply@blogger.com
